This one's pretty, I like how you changed it a little. Instead of the person holding the book, the books are holding the person. I also like to think about this one a little more because it also shows that when you are reading books, the book is reading you, does that make sense? Great job!

The background is beautiful, and I like the cute little text robe he's wearing.

I have never been so intrigued and drawn in to traditional artwork. I am almost glad that you have 39 deviations and not hundreds, or else I would never be able to get through them all. So much meaning in every piece that I look at, so much heart poured into it. After seeing just a few of your more recent drawings I new I had to start toward the beginning because I did not want to miss out on any!

Reading is something that as children (in America, my home) it begins as something fresh, new, exciting! But often, very quickly we are almost conditioned by the very people who teach us to read, to have a distaste for it. So in my teenage years I forgot the wonders of it and without even realizing what was happening, my dreams disappeared with it. If we allow it, reading stretches and expands our minds in very unique ways, so I believe. This is such a wonderful illustration of it. :)

Thank you very much d65. You know, in fact I think I'm going to try some digital art. Not alone. I'd like to mix it with traditional media.
Oh, and about reading, I've been in love with books all my life. Well, I must recognize I was a quite lonely child and perhaps that's one of the causes but I spent the whole day reading, so when I have to read some boring book in the school I was able to do it very quickly. I was lucky, they never made me hate reading, but I understand what you say. A boring book can be something terrible for a child or a teenager. I'm glad to hear that you've come back to literature whatever kind it is. You know, one of the stupidiest phrases I've heard is "You can't learn life in the books" (Or freedom or whatever). The funny thing is that usually the people who say that don't read. Of course you can learn that kind of things reading. And a lot more :-)
